At Wayside Schools, athletics are about more than competition—they're about building character, teamwork, leadership, and school pride. Our secondary scholars in grades 6-12 compete on competitive varsity and middle school teams, primarily as members of HCAL, facing schools from across the Austin area. Our scholar-athletes have earned multiple league championships, and we are committed to continuing to grow and expand our athletic programs each year.

For our youngest scholars, Wayside offers the Future Ravens League, an affordable developmental sports program for scholars in grades K-5. Through volleyball, basketball, and futsal, elementary scholars are introduced to the fundamentals of competition in a fun, encouraging environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game.

Whether a scholar is picking up a ball for the first time or competing for a championship, Wayside Athletics provides opportunities for every Raven to grow, compete, and succeed.
